This rugged instrument is battery powered and intended for general site work. It does not contain demagnetisation circuitry and is primarily suited to the measurement of cyclic stress ranges. The system can work with single and multiple element probes.

Overview

This instrument can be used for both routine and remote access applications. It's rugged and weatherproof!

Routine applications involve manual placement of the probe either by the system operator or a remote operator. When used with extended cable probes, the system is great for rope access situations. The operator controls the software and data analysis and probe deployment is carried out by a rope access technician.

For rope access, StressProbe provides huge cost savings over the use of conventional strain measuring methods, also avoiding the need to remove coatings or prepare surfaces.
