Inspection PC

TSC developed software specifically for the Walking Stick. Called "ACFM for Rails", the software is capable of automatic detection and sizing of defects with audible alarms dependent on the severity of defect encountered. Data is stored ready for return to base where an office-based computer can be used to archive and review the gathered data.

A laptop computer provides a real time display to the operator as well as STORING ALL DATA for subsequent review and analysis by third parties. The system is designed specifically to put less reliance on the operator's decision and provides semi automated rating of defect severity, summary reports of largest defect in a particular length of rail and capabilities for downloading into client databases.
