The ASSISTu (ACFM Software Suite for the Inspection of STructures Underwater) software package provides U31 instrument control, data collection, storage and analysis. ASSISTu supports all underwater standard and array probes in a variety of configurations.

ASSISTu supports underwater probes through a number of easy to use views and program features, for example... Surface map views available as coloured contour maps to provide an overview of large inspected areas. Supports array probes for inspection of wide 2D surfaces or multiple regions at the same time (e.g. weld toe+cap+HAZ). Supports non linear defect orientations i.e. transverse and diagonal defects. Supports position feedback data (common on ACFM arrays), providing defect length estimates automatically.
