The table below provides specification details for regular probe types. The range is not limited to those listed.
TSC can manufacture to-order many of the probe types listed below with additional options:
- Std cable length is 5m unless otherwise specified. Other lengths 1m - 50m available.
- For deployment in shallow water, probes can be provided for use down to 50m depth.
- For use with non-magnetic materials, high frequency versions can be supplied.

"The most stable probe to deploy, using three point contact. Produces the most uniform field over the largest area and should be used whenever access allows" Bottom face is fitted with stainless steel feet and replaceable if worn. Sensors are protected by a high wear resistance ceramic disc and replaceable brass location plate. |

"This array performs fast wide area inspection with software that allows differentiation between defects and features" This probe is designed to span large areas, typically inspecting across a region or a geometric profile. Software allows visualisation of plan views of an inspection area using colour contour plots to gauge defect density and location. This array probes features full position feedback using a rotary encoder with sprung wheel, providing precise defect location and sizing detail. Array probes can be manufactured to suit requirements, providing a 'fit' for a distinct geometry or inspection path, for example propulsor blades, ships propellers, shafts etc. Typically 8 rows of sensors and a Y Field capability provide an excellent analysis of potentially defective areas. |

"The probe is simply placed in a series of overlapping positions around the weld enabling deployment by workclass ROV's" Welds can be inspected in a series of pick and place operations, avoiding the need for sophisticated weld tracking. The system can be deployed by virtually any workclass ROV fitted with a good quality manipulator. |
