Introduction

StressProbe Underwater This instrument performs underwater stress measurement deployed either by Diver or ROV. The underwater StressProbe does not contain demagnetisation circuitry and is therefore suited to the measurement or monitoring of dynamic loading in structures. The system comprises a topside unit, a subsea bottle and subsea probe.

Diver Deployed

This model of the dedicated underwater instrument is suitable for diver deployment up to a maximum depth of 300m. Power and communications are provided, via an umbilical cable, from its topside unit.

ROV Deployed

This model is a ROV deployed version of the StressProbe Underwater instrument, designed for deepwater applications. The primary difference to the diver model is the depth rating (to 2000m) and the fact that that all power and communications are provided by the ROV rather than a dedicated umbilical.
