Introduction

StressProbe Demag This instrument is mains powered and can be used in a wide range of applications. It contains capability for demagnetisation of the component under test and is suited to both static and dynamic stress measurement. The system can work with single and multiple element probes.

Overview

This instrument is used in situations where magnetic hysteresis needs to be considered. This generally applies to situations where absolute measurement of stress levels is required (as opposed to stress cycle ranges).

Static loads in existing structures cannot be determined by retrofitting strain gauges or other load measurement devices. StressProbe's can provide that information when calibration data for the structural materials used are available.
