External Encoder Interface Available

An add-on product for the Amigo will reduce overall inspection time for many single sensor ACFM applications.

The Encoder Interface add-on enables an external encoder to be used in conjunction with standard single sensor ACFM probes. When used with TSC's ASSIST software, the system can collect valuable position feedback, provide automatic length estimation and record total scan distances and defect locations. New addition to the ASSIST software Family

TSC now have available an office version of ASSIST, identical to the standard version but with communications disabled. This is available as an unlicensed product to all registered users of ASSISTant, ASSIST Lite and full ASSIST, without charge, and allows off-line review of data collected.

Version 2.3.06 of all ASSIST based products (ASSISTant, ASSIST Lite and full ASSIST) has now been released and users should ensure they are using the latest issue.

Free ASSIST Software Upgrade

A new revision of TSC's innovative ASSIST ACFM software package (Vn 2.3.05) has been issued to all registered ASSIST licence holders. This free-update is part of TSC Inspection Systems’ continued commitment to provide the highest level of customer service to all its clients.

The latest revision contains a number of new features, improvements and ease-of-use enhancements added as a result of customer feedback and a continuing improvement programme.

Changes include, but are not limited to:

• Import for QFM 3.1 Data Files.
• Interchangeable units systems of mm or inches.
• Customer’s logo on printed reports.
• Speed indicator bar when scanning with encoder-feedback probes.
• Improved defect sizing interface
