MK
IV ACPD Instrument
Software
One ACPD software package is available
for use with the MK IV ACPD System: LIMOS - Long-term Inspection
& Monitoring Of Structures.

LIMOS
Software
LIMOS collects and stores
all data on a user defined schedule and displays graphically
crack shape evolution and crack growth extension curves.
In multi-probe ACPD operation, LIMOS obtains a set of voltage
measurements from the probes attached to the Crack Microgauge.
The probes are arranged in pairs (cross crack and reference)
and the voltages from each pair are used to calculate a crack
depth of a given point. LIMOS then plots the array of depths
as a crack profile. Scans of the probes can be made at user-defined
intervals and LIMOS will also plot crack growth curves for
any given site. In single-probe ACPD operation, LIMOS collects
data at sites chosen by the operator to produce a crack profile. |
Key Features
The following features come as standard
with LIMOS software:
- Is easy to setup and use, including simple repetitive schedules.
- Fully configures
& controls the MK IV instrument operation.
- Shows crack depth
profiles and other data both visually and in tabular form.
- Automatically
stores site details, schedule setup and sensor readings for audit
and review.
- Readings can be annotated or removed if taken in error.
- Supports movable and fixed sensors.
- Has export options available if extra analysis required.
- Supports a range of alarm triggers and actions.
- Contains full
online illustrated user manual and procedures.
