Probes

TSC's MK IV ACPD probes when used with MK IV instrumentation provide the capability to measure crack depth at different points along a defect and to provide 'continuous' monitoring of crack profile and growth.

Probes are available to meet general or specific inspection needs.

Probe Types

Standard movable probes provide for most needs when access is not an issue.

For more difficult to access areas, specialist materials and harsh environments, a full range of probe types are available including:

•  Probes for awkward geometries
•  Probes suited to non-magnetic materials
•  Probes for underwater use
•  Probes for high temperature use

Cable accessories allow the MK IV ACPD multiplexing features to be used with spot welded pins, providing an effective ACPD probe array, ideal for crack profiling and long term monitoring. See MK IV Accessories.

Service & Warranty

All probes are supplied with 12 months RTB parts and labour warranty.

A chargeable repair service is available for out-of-warranty or wear-and-tear damages.
